McCune Management Consulting, LLC supports clients with strategy and operations projects. Typical engagements are assessment or implementation projects of 1 or 2 consultants working part-time or full time. Projects can be scaled up to larger size through our network of other small consulting firms or independent consultants. By working with a smaller firm, clients receive the services of more experienced consultants for approximately half the fees of the large consulting firms. Engagements are led by Garth McCune, principal consultant.

Garth has nearly 20 years of experience working in technology-based firms such as computer peripherals, communications equipment, medical device, and biopharmaceuticals. His areas of responsibility have included production and supply chain management, engineering project management, and product marketing. Garth has extensive experience in interim management in supply chain organizations.

Garth specializes in enterprise transformation by assisting clients with supply chain and operations strategy, process improvements, best practice implementation, and supporting technologies. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Garth has extensive client experience in the following areas:

  2. New Product Introduction and Product Life Cycle management
  3. Project Management
  4. Business Process Improvement and Reengineering
  5. Interim Management
  6. Organizational Change
  7. Systems Selection and Implementation

Prior to starting McCune Management Consulting, LLC, Garth was a manager at Archstone Consulting and Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM). Prior to consulting, his industry experience includes production and materials management for Trimble Navigation as well as product management and manufacturing management for Conner Peripherals.

Garth holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg GSM and both a BS and MS in industrial engineering from Stanford University.
